Visit the Sustainable Fashion Brand in Pokhara
Yes Helping Hands
Where Luxury Meets Purpose
For more than thirteen years, Yes Helping Hand has been more than a store, more than a sustainable fashion brand. It's where Sunita, who lost her hearing at age seven, learned to create cashmere so soft it makes people cry. Where Durga, a single mother of two, found dignity and a future. Where you can watch centuries-old craftsmanship happening in real-time, not behind glass, but right there, where you can ask questions and see the pride in our artisans' eyes.
This isn't a shopping experience. It's a glimpse into what happens when you give everyone a chance without exclusion, possible with the Yes Helping Hand Organization.
What You'll Actually Experience at Yes Helping Hand
Walk in, and you’ll get a glimpse of glee and happiness among the artisans. Then, you'll hear the clack of wooden looms, the clink of knitting tools. This is their workspace, and you're welcome in it.
1.Welcome
Our team will warmly greet you at the entrance. We'll offer you our visitor card and make you comfortable. This is your space - take your time, feel at home.
2.Briefing
We'll introduce you to Yes Helping Hands - our story, our mission, and the people behind every piece. Learn how we've been transforming lives through traditional craftsmanship since 2011.
3.Factory Visit
Step onto our production floor where everything happens. See cashmere being hand-spun and woven on traditional looms. This is real work, happening right in front of you.
4.Meet the Artisans
This is where it gets special. Meet Hira, Maina, Tulsi, and the rest of our artisans. They'll smile at you. Some will show you what they're making. None of them are here because they had no other options - they're here because they're good at what they do. Ask questions. Hear their stories.
5.Store Visit
Visit the store as you like, we're not going to hover, and there’s no buying pressure.Browse, touch things, ask questions. If you want to know about the cashmere grades or why Himalayan fiber is different, we'll talk for hours. If you just want to shop in peace, that works too.
6.Till We Meet Again
Leave with more than just cashmere. You'll take home a story, a connection, and the knowledge that your purchase just changed someone's life. We'll pack your items carefully and wait to meet you again. Come back anytime - you're family now.

The Honest Part About Price
Yes, our cashmere costs more than the stalls in Thamel. Here's why:
- ✓That woman weaving your muffler earns more than Nepal's minimum wage
- ✓Every artisan gets paid for training
- ✓We don't use child labor (yes, others do)
- ✓Our cashmere is actually cashmere - unlike what you find at other stalls in Thamel.
- ✓No animals are harmed - the fiber is combed during natural shedding
A $60 muffler from us means Kamli can send her daughter to school. A $15 one from the market means... It's not real cashmere, and we actually don't know where that money goes.
You decide what matters.

A beautiful experience visiting this wholesome place and learning about how practical skills are taught and business is created for those who have difficulties with access. They work with people to develop skills that they are able to attain. Positivity is the key. Also there is an opportunity to buy high quality products made by Helping Hand Participants at a good price. Lots of lovely smiles too.
While I am going I came to this place. Actually speaking we must help these people. They are doing wonderful service. Especially if you are foreigners please please come have a look. It’s a help to these people. You can buy their product that is also a service you do for them. Staff working here doing wonderful service. I respect them. Especially thanks goes to Miss Namrita Sharma who describes everything to this. Her English is best and without fear came forward to present about the place.
Sehr interessantes Projekt in Pokhara.
